Turn of the Screw

The Turn of Screw was very creepy. I think the use of children and the subtly of the ghosts made the movie more scary. I think the songs and poems added to the suspense and kept me wondering about how the spirits were connected to the children. I was also curious to know if what the governess saw was real because no one ever admits to seeing them. I found it extremely odd that the children could keep these secrets so securely. I also thought that it was weird that the “innocent” miles who appeared to be the most well mannered loved child wanted to prove to I think Mrs. Gross character was very weird also, she held all the secrets and listened to the governess’s complaints and accusations, but at the same time she defended the children. It was hard to tell whose side she was on. I liked the movie and I agree that it was scary.
