How clothing describes a person and how it has changed thoughout generations.

by

Clothing is an important aspect of everyday society; unless you’re a nudist, then it doesn’t apply to you. Clothing defines you as a person. People who dress in suits and ties are considered people who deal with businesses. A judge wears a robe, police wear uniforms, and doctors wear scrubs. That’s how you know a doctor is a doctor and not a lumberjack. If a lumberjack walks into a doctor office, and says he is a doctor, but is wearing suspenders and a red and white flannel shirt, then the orderlies should know that he is not a doctor but a lumberjack. Everyone has a different style of clothing that they were known by. Michael Jackson was known for wearing a glove, and Madonna was known for her pointy bras. What people wear has changed through generations. The generations before us use to wear shorts that were above their knees, now guy shorts are past their knees. Girl’s skirts have been getting shorter and shorter. Just think if we wore what we did now back then what people would think of us?

I agree with what is being said here. The clothing has changed throughout the years. It has been getting shorter and shorter and more acceptable to do that. I also agree with what is being said about how what you wear defines you and you are remembered in that way.
